Spanish astronomers have confirmed that the our earth now has a mini-moon, a 37 feet diameter asteroid that was recently captured by our gravity. It will remain in orbit until this time next years.

I think it would be great if, on behalf our club, the mysterious MM was able to capture this rock in a photo.

Ok, talk about subtle pressure. If I can get an ephemeris that can pinpoint what is a very dim subject, I’ll give it a shot

If successful, a composite photo of both of Earth's moons is a must. :-)
I wonder if it will be easier to image mini-moon at "full mini"?
