Hi all, while in sicily visited my birth home, where I was born. believe it or not my family home was bought by a physician who was originally born in Medford mass, and was brought back to sicily by his family when he was very young, as I was brought to the US when I was 3 yo. (we swapped places).
He eventually bought my parents old home, added 2 stories and turned the bottom floor into his cardiology office. He dies a few years back, his daughter an internist now took it over, and runs a primary practice from the site.
On visiting I was pleased to see IDA compliant dark sky lighting on the street and attached to the office !!. I later was invited to meet the mayor, and noted not all streets had this good lighting. The mayer assures me within the next 2 years all streets in Canncatini Bagni  will be proper lighting. Even in sicily pushing for dark sky lighting, FYI.. :)
