Mario has sent us what I once would have called fully-described data: five
newly-refurbished astrophotos with comments for each. The photos are here
https://gaac.us/gallery-2/mario3, and worth a look. Scroll down, they're
the last five. Mario's comments follow.

"Hi all, it has been my mission of late to recapture some of the sky
highlights that I have imaged years ago, but could stand updating with new
techniques that bring for better detail; enjoy.

  1. M20 This is a new star forming nebula in Sagittarius. this was an
interesting experiment, where I tried to get the color of  the RGB images
but the fine detail of the NB filters. Traditional methods of combining
dimmed the blue component especially, but I found a way. I like this one.

  2. M27 this is a planetary nebula in Vulpecula, and with modern
techniques able to obtaining not just the brighter inner section, but
enhance the faint outer shells I have never captured before.

  3. M13, best globular cluster in the northern sky (#3 if you include the
southern hemisphere, but we can not see them from here :)

  4. Draco trio, three great galaxies in one field, NGC 5981-82-85, love this
    triplet

  5. Another great triplet, ARP286, these are interacting, including the
    spectacularly warped NGC 5560

Enjoy, Mario"

Mario:  Really like the ARP galaxy group.  All the images are of your usual great effort.
