Mario's terrific 9/25 Rockport Public Library talk, "Human Health &
Environmental Effects of LED Lighting on Our Night Skies," is available on
YouTube here https://youtu.be/efVn16_gYLI.

It's well-worth your time, especially if you're not familiar with the
current state of the research into the effects of LED light at night.

I missed this one. Saw an early of of Dr. Mario's in 2015. Great lecture.

Question for anyone: Remember a comet that swung by in 2007??? or
thereabouts that had broken into multiple pieces you could see in the
scope? Hasn't appeared on any 'best comets' of the internet that I've found
yet.

Found. It was 73P/Schwassmann–Wachmann, also known as Schwassmann–Wachmann
3
or SW3, 2006. Viewed it at that place in ?Essex? behind Plum Island.
