Hi all,
I Imaged this object this week. I went after NB filter objects as the full
moon was up. This is a planetary in Vela, -40 south,  none of you likely to
have seen before.
On processing, I am impressed at how much it resembles the ring nebula M57,
its central star seems brighter than the ring nebula, it is a hot white
dwarf with a surface temp of over 100,000 deg centigrade reportedly. Taken
with my C14 edge working at F7, with Ha, O3, and S2 filters.

That's what the ring looks like in my 20. Just kidding. Very cool central
star, Mario.
