Hi all, I just got to lake Tekapo in the middle of the South Island of New Zealand. Unbelievable vistas from the lake and from mountain John’s where we were just given a tour, large scope there is 1.8 meter f3.
I was invited as a keynote speaker at the “starlight conference “ to talk on human health effects of light pollution, my talk is on Wednesday. 130 attendees from all over the globe, include lighting engineers, physics like me, professional astronomers, environmental scientists. Maybe it will make some difference on the issue of light pollution.
