The Pelican Nebula (located in the summer constellation, Cygnus, in the
vicinity of the star, Deneb, and found on star charts with the designation
of IC5070) was my summer project, the objective of which was to collect as
much integration time as I could fit in while it presented a decent target
in the sky during the season. The image data was collected using a
StellarVue SVQ100 APO, ZWO 183MM PRO camera, and Astrodon Tru-Balance LRGB
filter set. All image frames were 180-second exposures. About 15 hours'
worth of luminance data was collected, and two hours' per red, green and
blue filters. About 21 hours' integration time, in total. All image
processing was carried out in PixInsight.
