Used my wide field 88mm refractor again last night, got:
IC2177, known as the "seagull" nebula, 3,600 LY away in Monoceros
Taken with NB filters and ZWO 6200 camera. About 2.5 hours imaging time
also SH2-284 15,000 LYA also in Monoceros. also with 88mm nighthawk scope,
and my zwo 6200 camera, 3 hours imaging with NB filters.
Yes, could reach these in Massachusetts, but.. much higher in the sky down
here, and air steady
Mario
Very nice detailed images Mario. The air here is unbelievable unstable. I just purchased a new ZWO planetary camera and the seeing conditions are poor. Jupiter is dancing around on the display screen
