The weather looks good, so this summer's last HPSP star party will take
place tonight from 9:00 to 10:30 by the Visitor Center. Unless you are
bringing a scope, please park in the main lot and walk the short distance
to the Visitor Center.
If you are bringing a scope, go up the gravel drive, open the gate, drive
through, and close it behind you. Set up time is 7:00 - 7:30. Try not to
arrive late, please, so that we can enjoy the moon-free sky without
headlights. Sunset is around 7:30.
We'll have all the galaxies, nebulae, all the various objects of the summer
sky to explore, with the added presence of Saturn as the moon rises later
in the evening. We hope you'll come out to see us and enjoy our last star
party of the year.
